A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE NORTH JERSEY CRUISERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB, INC.
North Jersey Cruisers Motorcycle Club, Inc. is an organization
based in Hawthorne, NJ. Founded by Manny Intorrella and Glenn Smith in 1997, it
became a non-profit corporation shortly thereafter. Manny became President, and
Glenn Vice President. Many members who were there at the beginning, and throughout
the club's history, have helped the club to grow: Vic Terraglia, Greg Hand, Chuck Tharp,
Kevin Munster, Bob Bates, Lou Zerbo, John McCurnin, Tony Magliaro, Drew McCahill,
Ken Dahse, Chad Spannaus and others. A special thanks is also in order to all the members
who have led club rides over the years, and have kept the club active.
Manny was President from 1997 until 2002, when he resigned. He was replaced by Scully.
In 2005, Scully retired and Chad became President with Freddie Torres VP. In 2006
Ken Dahse became Vice President, Joe Loverchio Secretary and Tony Magliaro Treasurer.
In 2007, Chad and Tony retired. Ken Dahse became President, Drew McCahill
Vice President/Treasurer, and Joe remained as Secretary. In 2006/7, Ken Dahse re-designed
and updated the website.
Our club is a diverse group of riders ranging
in age from 25-65. All riders are welcome to join the club; however, bikers must obey
