A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE NORTH JERSEY CRUISERS MOTORCYCLE CLUB, INC.
North Jersey Cruisers Motorcycle Club, Inc. is an organization now
based in Ringwood, NJ. Originally founded by Manny Intorrella and Glenn Smith in
1997, and based in Hawthorne, NJ, the North Jersey Cruisers Motorcycle Club
became a non-profit corporation shortly thereafter. Manny served as the club's
first President, and Glenn as Vice President. Manny served as President from
1997 through 2002 when he resigned. George "Scully" Sisca was elected President
and served until 2005 when he was succeeded by Chad Spannaus. In 2007, Ken Dahse
was elected President and served through the 2009 season. In 2008, the club's base of
operations was shifted to Ringwood, NJ. In 2010, Mark Giraldi was nominated and
accepted the role of president.
Over the 12 years of the club's
existence, many members have contributed to the club's growth and some continue
to do so to this day. These include: Vic Terraglia, Greg Hand, Chuck Tharp,
Kevin Munster, Bob Bates, Lou Zerbo, John McCurnin, Chad Spannaus, Joe Loverchio,
Tony Magliaro, Drew McCahill,
Ken Dahse, and others. A special thanks is also in order to
all of our "Road Captains" and "Ride Leaders" - members who have led club rides
over the years, and have kept the club active.
Our club is a diverse group of riders ranging in age from 25-70. All
riders are welcome to join the club; however, bikers must obey our RULES AND GUIDELINES.
